2025 will see Soltech IT continue to donate IT equipment to school's throughout the Southwest as part of our 'Giving Back To Schools' donation campaign.
We were delighted to be able to donate more than £15,000 of 65" and 75" Promethean ActivPanel Touchscreens to six local schools and MAT's.
Gareth Jones, commented "As a business it's great to be able to give something back to schools, be they a customer or not. Our most recent donations have helped transform the learning environments of pupils which is something we are very proud of."
These most recent donations have not only included a 65" or 75" Promethean ActivPanel Touchscreen, the schools have also received WiFi module upgrades, Android functionality, wall mounting brackets and relevant cables, plus delivery, removal / WEEE disposal of old equipment, installation and training, all as part of Soltech IT's donation.
That's around a £3,000 donation at each school or MAT.

Schools opt for Soltech IT
Since the turn of the year, 13 new primary schools have selected Soltech IT as their ICT support provider of choice.
Already these schools are reducing their ICT expenditure, applying for, and gaining grant funding with our help.
Computing Curriculum Loan Boxes
Schools are reaping the rewards of our curriculum loan boxes which are full of gadgets, games and apps designed to meet the needs of the new computing curriculum.
Grant funding
The schools we support have now gained in excess of £120,000 of grant funding since September 2014 and we are confident of hitting our target of gaining more than £200,000 of funding for our schools by the end of the school year in July.
With our help, schools have also benefitted from other initiatives this year, such as, free Raspberry Pi's, free trees for schools, free solar panels, free cereal for breakfast clubs and much more....
Donations
Since the begining of January we have donated 150 education 'Yobot' robots to schools throughout, BANES, North Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Somerset.
In April we will continue our 'giving back to schools campaign' by donating a choice of Yobots, Apple TV's or Tablet PC's to the schools we support.
