Salary / Package
Mon to Fri - £26,000 to £28,000
Additional Bonus - Up to £1,200pa

Soltech IT provides a comprehensive range of IT services and hands-on ICT / computing support to over 700 business and education (primary schools) clients across the South West of England. We put the needs of our clients first, taking care of all of their technology needs.

We are looking to recruit a dedicated and experienced individual to provide field based IT support to our education client base. This can include regular weekly/fortnightly scheduled visits to schools and call-outs to resolve issues.
The successful candidate may also be involved in project installations. This may involve, but not limited to, assisting in the deployment of laptops or PC's, installing WiFi, assisting project engineers with server installations, SharePoint migrations, and much more.
Individuals will be passionate about IT with a strong technical background, be self-motivated and enjoy providing excellent customer service. This role requires the successful candidate to be a team player, have strong communication and organisation skills along with a courteous manner with the ability to explain technical issues in layman’s terms to our customers.
Candidates should be able to work independently and have an aptitude for problem solving and a proactive approach to identifying ways to improve services.
Previous experience of working within education would be beneficial, but not essential.
The successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS and safeguarding check. Due to the requirement to visit client sites, you must be able to drive and have your own vehicle to be considered for this role.
