About Us


At Soltech IT we love computers and we're passionate about technology and how it never stays the same. 


We focus on success, whether it’s being winners alongside the likes of Google and Apple at the Innovation and Excellence Awards', or helping in excess of 850+ customers including globally recognised organisations, such as Costa Coffee, The Royal British Legion, Taylor Wimpey, National Health Service NHS, Aerospace, Wessex Water and The University of Oxford, stay one step ahead of their industry and business challenges.


Our team is dedicated to maintaining and improving ICT standards and reducing ICT costs within the schools and academies we work with in 53 Local Education Authorities.


Every day we come to work to have fun and to attack everything with a high energy and ambition.

Richard Sheppard
Founding Director
Richard founded Soltech IT in 2009. Today the company works with over 750 clients throughout the UK, including globally recognised organisations, such as, The University of Oxford and Costa Coffee.

Richard has over 25 years experience working within the IT industry and having previously worked for UK and international accountancy software and IT firms,

Adam Lane
Technical Director 
Working within the business and educational sectors for many years, Adam has been instrumental in harnessing the latest technology to innovate and deliver new and effective systems. 
Prior to joining Soltech IT in 2011, Adam spent 12 years managing the IT systems and operations of Focus DIY's offices and stores throughout the United Kingdom.

Stuart Clark
Sales Director
Stuart has 15 years' experience in technology businesses, having previously held director level roles.

His combination of experience and un-bounding passion for IT and obsession with customer service, has been invaluable in our quest to work in partnership with some of the UK’s leading organisations.

Jane Pruden

Finance manager

Heading up our finance team at Soltech, Jane is responsible for ensuring the company's financial functions serve our internal requirements and our clients' needs.


Jane is certified by The Association of Accounting Technicians and has a wealth of experience in the use of financial systems including SIMS, FMS, XERO, PassFINANCE, Sage and QuickBooks to mention a few.

Lee Botley
UK Apple Support Manager

 Lee brings a wealth of Apple certified qualifications to the business, along with also many years of experience dealing with prestigious  SME's, and Educational organisations.

As our UK Apple Support Manager, Lee is responsible for managing Soltech IT's UK Apple division, a role that also allows Lee to be very much 'hands on' with our client base.
