DfE's Connect the Classroom program, partnered with Soltech IT?

Connect the Classroom is a Department for Education (DfE) funded scheme designed to help eligible schools across the UK upgrade their IT infrastructure with reliable, high-speed wireless connectivity.

Through this program, your school can benefit from a future-ready network solution, including the installation of Access Points, CAT6A and Fibre Cabling—ensuring strong, consistent coverage throughout your site to support modern learning needs.

If your school is in an eligible area, you may have already received an invitation from the DfE to apply for this funding. To access it, schools need to submit a compliant bid—a process our team can fully support you with.

We specialise in securing funding through the Connect the Classroom scheme and will guide you step by step, from your initial application to final installation.
Is your school eligible for Connect the Classroom??

If you’ve already received an invitation from the Department for Education (DfE) to apply for Connect the Classroom funding, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

If you haven’t received an invitation yet, don’t worry — Soltech IT can contact the DfE on your behalf to check your school’s eligibility. This service is completely free of charge.

Once your eligibility is confirmed and you’ve received your invitation, we’ll arrange a visit to your school to meet with you in person and carry out a comprehensive, no-cost site survey. This includes a full assessment of your current network and infrastructure needs.

Following the survey, we’ll provide you with a tailored proposal that meets all DfE specifications. You can review this proposal alongside your DfE advisor as part of the application process.
