Overview

Soltech IT are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our successful sales team.

As a New Business Development Manager, you will be working in a fast-paced, exciting environment; where your key objective will be to gain and develop new customer accounts, whilst also maintaining existing relationships with customers.

To achieve this you will plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact, working towards achieving agreed business aims.

Supported by our telesales and social selling teams, you will be responsible for planning and managing your personal business portfolio/territory according to an agreed Market and Sales Development Strategy.

As a Business Development Manager it is important you are interested in what motivates people, the sales cycle and human behaviour, as well as being interested in a wide range of technology and new advances.

Responsibilities:
  • Have a successful and proven track record in proposing and closing IT sales
  • Experience of dealing with both business and educational clients is essential. Greater experience of the educational market would be highly beneficial• Deliver a monthly sales forecast to the Sales Director
  • Ability to manage and work existing customer accounts
  • Understand customers' diverse, specific needs, whilst applying product knowledge to meet those needs;
  • Manage your own diary in order to organise and prioritise daily and weekly goals
Experience:
  • Track record in IT Sales
  • Experience of managing a region or a patch effectively
  • IT knowledge including, Microsoft and Apple Solutions, Cloud, MDM, Broadband, Telephone Systems and Hardware.

We are seeking a confident and highly motivated individual to join our sales team as an Account Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious and highly motivated company that is doubling in size over the next 12 months. Overview

Due to continued growth Soltech IT are looking to recruit an additional 1st Line Support Engineer to join our Service Desk team.

Working with both education and business clients, the position requires good communication skills and excellent user-interaction.

Key responsibilities:
  • Provide 1st line support to users throughout the UK
  • Responding to initial calls to the Service Desk whilst ensuring these calls are logged onto the ticketing system
  • Manage engineering call outs / projects and engineer’s diaries.
  • Ensure general smooth running of engineering department
Essential:

Overview

Soltech IT are currently looking for a passionate and energetic individual for a role with Soltech IT that delivers ICT Support to educational establishments throughout the UK.

Interested candidates should have strong Apple IT skills and be eager to take their technology knowledge to the next level.

During your apprenticeship, you'll study for a recognized technology qualification.

Responsibilities:

To provide first line helpdesk support for Apple hardware, applications and MDM solutions.
To assist with the, setting up, maintenance and repair of computers, iPads, computer-linked equipment and computer-related equipment.
To install and configure software applications and MDM solutions
To configure hardware
To help produce and maintain checklists and other documentation as necessary
To be aware of and abide by all health and safety procedures and associated polices
To undertake any other relevant duties as may reasonably be requested by our UK Apple Support Manager.

Qualities/ essential requirements:

IT qualifications and/or IT enthusiast
Team player
Reliable, hardworking and be willing to learn
Strong communication skills

Desired Qualification:

3 x GCSE's, grade C or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English
