National Business Development Manager - Salary negotiable DOE, plus commission & bonus' OTE £90,000+, plus benefits.

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our successful sales team.

As a National Business Development Manager, you will be working in a fast-paced, exciting environment; where your key objective will be to maintain and develop new and existing relationships with customers. To achieve this you will plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact, working towards achieving agreed business aims.

Supported by our telesales team, you will provide internal liaison to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction. You must plan and manage your personal business portfolio/territory according to an agreed Market and Sales Development Strategy.

You will plan, execute and support targeted marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales. This involves integrating personal sales efforts with other organised marketing activities including promotions, advertising and exhibitions. Communication is also key to the role, liaising and negotiating internally and externally using appropriate methods.

As a National Business Development Manager is it important you are interested in what motivates people, the sales cycle and human behaviour, as well as being interested in a wide range of technology and new advances.

Responsibilities :

  • Have a successful and proven track record in proposing and closing IT sales
  • Experience of dealing with business clients is essential, whilst experience of the educational market would be highly beneficial
  • Deliver a monthly sales forecast to the Managing Director
  • Ability to manage and work existing customer accounts
  • Understand customers' diverse, specific business needs, whilst applying product knowledge to meet those needs;
  • Manage your own diary in order to organise and prioritise daily and weekly goals

Experience :

  • Track record in IT Sales
  • Experience of managing a region or a patch effectively
  • A wealth of knowledge in the world of IT
  • Driving license
