Technology in a classroom can make all the difference and options are vast. With budgets often low it is becoming increasingly important for schools to invest in key pieces which are as valuable, effective & productive as possible. Below are just some of the technology available to schools.

AV / Interactive whiteboards
From touch screen panels and LCD projectors to interactive touch tables & speaker systems, we provide a range of audio visual solutions for schools. Having the right set up can do amazing things to the productivity, engagement and collaborative environment of a classroom. This tech allows teachers and students to fully engage in tasks, work on things together and provide a stimulating and fun way of learning. Mobile Devices

Staff can also receive analytics about the apps used and how and when students are working.

CPD

As the pioneers of continuous professional development within the computer curriculum, Soltech IT recognise that staff confidence and competence in the use of ICT within the classroom is key to ensuring a successful education. To help schools, Soltech IT provides a number of CPD training events which are held throughout the year by our educational and technology consultants. These CPD events look at how best to use technology and applications within the classroom whilst meeting the objectives of the computer curriculum. Our CPD events cover a wide range of topics including, E-Safety training, business manager cost saving / grant funding programmes, Apple / MDM training and much more. Secondary, Primary, Pre-Schools and Nursery’s will benefit from the FREE use of our, loan ‘Computer Curriculum Resource Boxes’. These boxes are full of different software applications, games and gadgets each designed to be used in accordance with the computer curriculum, whilst catering for the varying age groups within a school, i.e. Early Years, Key Stage 1/2/3. Each of the three areas of the curriculum are covered, computer science, digital literacy and information technology. Teachers are able to teach pupils about the component format of computers and how they are built and work, children can actively program, modify and debug software whilst learning about algorithms.
