Following an unprecedented influx of new clients during the early part of 2019, Soltech IT is looking to expand both our support and sales teams.

We are presently looking to recruit four experienced school ICT engineers and two education ICT sales professionals.

Full Time Position - (Flexible term time only working hours are also available)


Location

South Gloucestershire, Somerset, North Devon and the Exeter to Taunton Region

Ideal Candidates

Due to significant growth with the addition of 50+ new school support contracts, Soltech IT is seeking four exceptional School ICT Engineers to join our growing support team, providing outsourced IT support services in South Gloucestershire, Somerset, North Devon and the Exeter to Taunton region.

This is an extremely varied role for a customer facing, practical, proactive and dedicated individual.

Successful candidates will possess at least 2 years experience in an ICT educational support environment and have a good knowledge of Windows, Apple, VOIP and Broadband / filtering technologies / solutions.

Applicants must be good communicators with the ability to work under pressure and on their own initiative. Regular site visits are required for routine support and installations, or maintenance that cannot be completed remotely.

You will have come from a Microsoft environment with good Windows 8.1, 10, MS Office 2007-2016, Windows Server (STD and/or SBS), Exchange, Active Directory, TCP IP and Office 365 knowledge.

As an Apple focused business practical experience of Apple technologies, devices and applications such as MDM, iPad and iOS is desirable.

Additional hands on use of VOIP telephony and educational broadband / filtering solutions would also be a bonus.

Key Technical Skills

Field based support engineer including server based experience
Remote and telephone support for clients
Supporting Microsoft infrastructure
Windows 8.1, 10 administration
Windows Server including Hyper-V, Virtual Server administration
Active Directory, Group Policy, Permissions
Windows desktop and Microsoft Office administration
Desktop specification, trouble-shooting of user issues of any kind
Networking - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
Good Understanding of Routers, Firewalls and physical networks
Understanding of backup methodologies
Office 365 and/or Exchange server administration and troubleshooting
Experience of Apple Technologies (iOS, MDM, iPad, Apps, Mac,)
VOIP telephony solutions
Educational broadband / filtering

2 x Sales Executive

Working Hours

Full Time Position

Location

Based out of our Bristol and/or Yeovil offices, covering the counties of South Gloucestershire and/or Somerset, North Devon and in particular the Exeter to Taunton Region.

Ideal Candidates

As the business continues to grow and exceed targets we are looking to add up to two experienced sales professionals with a background in educational IT and Telecoms (VOIP) to our growing and inudated sales team.

The ideal candidante will have a track record of managing educational client (Nursery, Primary, Secondary, College, Academy) accounts as well as a strong backgound in winning new educational customers, in South Gloucestershire and/or Somerset, North Devon and in particular the Exeter to Taunton region.

This is an extremely interesting position that will allow the individual to earn uncapped commission selling a range of educational solutions that are not only unbelieveably competitive but also some of the best solutions on the market place.

Candidates will be expected to manage a substantial number of existing client accounts whilst also managing regular new business leads.

Successful candidates will possess at least 2 / 3 years experience of account management or business development in the educational IT sector and be in a position to 'hit the ground running'.

Applicants must be good communicators with the ability to work under pressure and on their own initiative.
