A brilliant day at the Somerset Association of Primary Headteachers Annual Conference at Oake Manor Golf Club perfectly captured what makes the education community so special—collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to improving outcomes for schools and pupils.
We were delighted to attend as sponsors, supporting the event with our visitor sign-in system and helping everything run smoothly from the moment attendees arrived. It was fantastic to see so many of the schools and trusts we work with in one place, and even better to hear such positive feedback about the support and services we provide.
One of the highlights for us was donating a number of BigTrak robots to schools. It’s always rewarding to give back in a way that directly supports learning, and these hands-on tools are a great way to spark interest in coding and STEM subjects among pupils.
Our team also had some great conversations throughout the day about our IT support for schools in Somerset. With budgets under increasing pressure, many school leaders were particularly interested in our filtered broadband solutions. These not only help reduce costs but also ensure full compliance with DfE requirements—something that remains a top priority for every school.
Adding to the buzz, our Promethean specialists were busy throughout the day delivering demonstrations of the Promethean AP10 Touchscreen. It was great to see so many educators engaging with the technology and exploring how it can enhance teaching and learning in classrooms throughout Somerset.

Events like this are a fantastic reminder of the importance of strong partnerships between schools and technology providers.
