British Ecological Society – School Ground Development Grants
What is it?
The Ecological Education Grants (EEGs) enable teachers to make their teaching of ecology more innovative, interesting and exciting. Grants of up to £750 are available to primary, secondary and tertiary schools to support initiatives to enhance school grounds as ideal places to teach practical ecology.Funding is available for initiatives such as for example building a school pond or developing a nature reserve, etc.
