2025 will see Soltech IT continue to donate IT equipment to school's throughout the Southwest as part of our 'Giving Back To Schools' donation campaign.
We were delighted to be able to donate more than £15,000 of 65" and 75" Promethean ActivPanel Touchscreens to six local schools and MAT's.
Gareth Jones, commented "As a business it's great to be able to give something back to schools, be they a customer or not. Our most recent donations have helped transform the learning environments of pupils which is something we are very proud of."
These most recent donations have not only included a 65" or 75" Promethean ActivPanel Touchscreen, the schools have also received WiFi module upgrades, Android functionality, wall mounting brackets and relevant cables, plus delivery, removal / WEEE disposal of old equipment, installation and training, all as part of Soltech IT's donation.
That's around a £3,000 donation at each school or MAT.
Soltech IT have donated a Visitor System to the North Cornwall Learning Trust
Yesterday, Soltech IT were working along side the Scomis team at Scomis Live 19.
Despite the fairly rough weather we were impressed find that nearly 300 schools made it along on the day and it was nice to see so many familiar faces from schools that both Soltech IT and Scomis work with.
As many of you will be aware, Soltech IT runs a charitable donations campaign. It's Soltech IT's way of giving something back to schools throughout the South West.
On the day of Scomis Live 19 the Soltech IT team decided that it would be in the spirit of things to make a donation. So we came up with the idea of donating a £2,500 Visitor System to one lucky school.
At the closing presentation a draw was made with the with the Visitor System being won by Michelle Bacchus of the North Cornwall Learning Trust.
In Michelle's absence, Kristen Carrington a Head Teacher at the North Cornwall Learning Trust stepped in to collect the donation from Stuart Clark, Sales Director at Soltech IT.
