Four new recruits as expansion begins

Six Schools Receive 75" and 65" Promethean Touchscreen Donations from Soltech IT Ltd

2025 will see Soltech IT continue to donate IT equipment to school's throughout the Southwest as part of our 'Giving Back To Schools' donation campaign. 


We were delighted to be able to donate more than £15,000 of 65" and 75" Promethean ActivPanel Touchscreens to six local schools and MAT's.


Gareth Jones, commented "As a business it's great to be able to give something back to schools, be they a customer or not. Our most recent donations have helped transform the learning environments of pupils which is something we are very proud of."


These most recent donations have not only included a 65" or 75" Promethean ActivPanel Touchscreen, the schools have also received WiFi module upgrades, Android functionality, wall mounting brackets and relevant cables, plus delivery, removal / WEEE disposal of old equipment, installation and training, all as part of Soltech IT's donation.


That's around a £3,000 donation at each school or MAT.

We are delighted to announce the recruitment of four new IT technicians who will add further depth and resources to the Soltech IT support team, as the company begins the next stage of it's expansion.

Experienced technician Samantha Rose takes up the position of 2nd/3rd Line Support Technician at Soltech IT. Having previous worked for Bristol based Hargreaves & Lansdown, Samantha will be responsible for providing higher level support to our business and school clients whilst also managing major projects and installations.

Daniel Pamphilon, joins us from AP Rox IT, a Barnstaple based education support provider. Daniel has previously provided onsite support in Secondary and Primary schools in the Devon, Dorset and Somerset areas. Daniel's new role will see him providing onsite ICT support to schools and MAT's throughout the South West of England.

Joining and expanding our help desk team is Bob Lewis and Robert Williams.

Bob has previously worked in support roles at High Society Bridal and also claim's to have as worked along side David Dickinson, whilst supporting the TV production team of Dickenson's Real Deal. `

Our fourth new recruit is Robert Williams who is a well qualified IT technician with customer services and operations experience. Rob has already become an integral member of our help desk team.
