G-Suite for Education and Google Workspace Explained

Schools throughout the UK are embracing Googles remote learning tools, with many more looking to move to a Google solution.

One of the common questions we are asked is 'What is the difference between G-Suite for Education and Google Workspace?'

To answer that question;

Google recently rebranded G-Suite as Google Workspace, whilst also increasing the functionality and introducing its newly integrated desktop environment that is designed to enhance overall collaboration and communications.

However, Google Workspace is currently only available to commercial organisations, although Google plans to bring Google Workspace to its non-profit and education clients in the coming months.

So for now, schools and other education establishments can continue to use and access tools through G-Suite for Education.
