Soltech IT has enjoyed an exceptionally busy and productive May Half Term, with engineering and installation teams delivering major ICT and AV projects for schools and academy trusts across the South West.
Our engineering team was deployed to aschool in Dorset to complete the rollout of a brand-new 120-PC ICT suite, providing students with a modern, high-performance learning environment ready for the new term.
Meanwhile in Bristol, Soltech installers successfully delivered and installed 18 new Promethean interactive touchscreens, enhancing classroom collaboration and digital learning capabilities across the school.
At a Gloucestershire school, our technical specialists completed a large-scale infrastructure project involving laptop deployment, hybrid server implementation, and cloud migration services — ensuring improved resilience, performance, and future-ready IT systems.
In Somerset, Soltech engineers deployed a good sized Wi-Fi solution including enterprise-grade Wi-Fi access points and PoE switches, significantly upgrading wireless connectivity and network coverage throughout the school and the school grounds.
Our teams have also been heavily involved in a substantial Promethean touchscreen rollout program across multiple schools within Devon, supporting schools with the latest interactive classroom technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
The May Half Term period has demonstrated the scale, capability, and commitment of the Soltech IT team, with engineers, installers, and project managers working tirelessly to deliver high-quality ICT solutions with minimal disruption during the school holiday window.
